Work In Progress Log

[hexakarm]

Here I will post a log of things I am working on or learn about the forum!

To Do
- finish last bit of gruvbox theme
- finish frutiger aero theme
- decide whether to use a portal mod or not. TinyPortal is weird but seems good, Light Portal was nice, but glitched out, EzPortal I didn't really like, and EhPortal is too hard to find
- prettying the user info section besides posts, as it is pretty chunky.
- add a custom smiley set
- add a smileys set for post deco
- maybe make forum achievements
- [DONE] make banner thingies for the member icons under the avatar. (this is part of member groups)

- Attachments are currently limited to 192 KB. I haven't dug deep enough to find out if I can change this, but most files should be hosted externally to avoid running out of space with the host. (there is a setting for this, but i didn't edit it yet)

Updates

- Gruvbox theme 90% done. Fully usable, but a few things look weird because I was lazy, and a few other things I didn't edit because I haven't interacted with them yet (i.e. PMs)
- Changed forum name to "too many hobbies", and then to "dilettante2polymath" because I am cringe and I just found out about those words. Dilettante is someone who has surface level interest in many topics, and polymath is someone who is actually an expert on multiple things.
- Added a mod that allows me to add Pages to the forum, where I would like to keep rules, info, help, and other sorts of information rather than in a forum section. This may or may not be permanent?

Thoughts
-  I don't really want "Pages" in the header (nvm i changed it), but idk if i want this as a permanent solution for a section of important pages. idk

stuff i broke:
- the way some stuff looks is wrong now... and also the date input for birthdays is changed somehow
- there is a weird error at the bottom of profile pages. i think breeze mod didnt uninstall properly
- the crop feature for uploading a profile picture is gone?
